WhatsApp for business,
built for teams

WhatsApp for business, done properly for a team. Staff keep their own numbers; the business gets one shared inbox, automated follow-ups, a chatbot and payments in the chat. From £49 a month.

    Features

WhatsApp for business, built for a team, not one phone

WhatsApp Business was built for one person with one phone. Here is what changes when there is a team, a backlog, and real money moving through those conversations.

Every conversation in one shared inbox and WhatsApp CRM

Those threads live on your staff’s phones today, where nobody else can see them, cover them or report on them. Connect the numbers they already use and every conversation lands in one inbox, with owners, notes and a history that stays when people leave.

WhatsApp automated messages that run themselves

On its own, WhatsApp expects you to remember the quote to chase and the reminder to send. Set the intent once and it happens for every customer, including on the weeks you are far too busy to think about it.

    Sell without sending them elsewhere

Every jump out of the chat — to a PDF, a portal, a payment page on an unfamiliar domain — asks the customer to trust you again. Send products, take payment and book the job inside the thread, in WhatsApp’s own interface.

A WhatsApp chatbot that knows your business

An AI assistant that answers the routine questions from your own catalogue, orders and FAQs, day or night, and hands the conversation to a person the moment it is unsure.

The numbers WhatsApp never gave you

Once every conversation runs through one inbox, the work becomes countable: what chat is worth, who is answering, and how fast. Manage WhatsApp like the sales channel it already is.

    The difference

Same WhatsApp. Now run like a business.

Your team keeps answering customers on WhatsApp, on the phones they already use. What changes is what the business can see, cover and prove.

    Getting started

Four steps to your first message

From connecting a number to your first automated follow-up. Your team keeps working the way they already do, and the whole business gets one shared inbox.

    1. Connect your numbers

Link the WhatsApp numbers your team already uses. Their contacts, message history and business identity stay exactly as they are, on the same handsets.

    2. Connect your tools

Bring in your store, your CRM, your inventory system. Over 50 connectors mean the products, prices and details you send in a chat are the ones already running your business.

    3. Write your messages

Set up approved templates, follow-up sequences and guided flows. Decide the timing once and preview the whole thing before a single customer sees it.

    4. Go live and watch it

Conversations land in the shared inbox from every connected number. Assign them, cover for each other, and see delivery, replies and response times as they happen.

    Integrations

    Over 50 connectors, and counting

All the major e-commerce platforms, CRMs, inventory and accounting systems, and more. A WhatsApp conversation updates the rest of your stack without anyone retyping it.

Built on the official WhatsApp Business API

We run on Meta's Cloud API (the WhatsApp Business Platform), not an unofficial workaround. Your number stays verified, your green tick stays put, and nothing risks a ban.

    Your customer data stays yours

Conversations are stored in the UK (London) by default and never leave your workspace. Export everything or delete it outright, any time, without asking us.

Encrypted in transit and at rest

Every message is encrypted on the way in and on the way out. Only the teammates you invite can open a conversation, and every action is logged.

    Never used to train models

Your chats and your customers' details are not used to train our models — or anyone else's. No exceptions buried in the small print.

    FAQ

    Questions, answered

Do I need a new WhatsApp number to use Companion?

No. Your team keep the numbers they already use, on the phones they already carry. We connect each one to the platform through WhatsApp Coexistence, so contacts, chat history and business profile stay exactly as they are. There is no new number to announce and nothing for your customers to save.

Can my staff carry on using the WhatsApp Business app?

Yes, and most do. They reply from their own phone exactly as they do today, and the same conversation appears in the shared WhatsApp inbox at the same time. Nothing to migrate, and no new app to force on people who did not ask for one.

Can several people use one WhatsApp Business account (WhatsApp Business multiple users)?

Yes. Companion gives a team one shared inbox across every connected number, with an owner on each conversation, internal notes and the full history. Staff on their own numbers and a front-desk number all land in the same place, on the web and in the iPhone app.

How much do WhatsApp Business messages cost in the UK?

Meta bills you directly at its published rates: in the UK a utility message is about 1.6p and a marketing message about 3.8p, and replies to a customer within 24 hours are free. Companion never adds a mark-up. Our plans start at £49 a month for the workspace.

How long does setup take, and will you help?

Connecting a number takes minutes. Bringing in your catalogue and building your first automated follow-up usually takes an afternoon, and we will do it with you on a call. No developer is needed.

Can I send WhatsApp marketing messages to customers who have opted in?

Yes. Companion sends through the official WhatsApp Business Platform, on templates Meta has approved, at the volumes Meta permits. You are responsible for having opt-in from the people you message; we handle the templates and the messaging rules that go with them.

How does WhatsApp automation work in Companion?

A workflow is a series of timed messages triggered by something happening: a quote sent, an enquiry received, a booking made. When the customer replies, the sequence stops itself, so nobody is chased about something they have already answered.

Which tools does Companion integrate with?

Shopify, WooCommerce, Square for payment links and your calendar, plus over 50 connectors covering the major e-commerce platforms, CRMs, inventory and accounting systems. The products and prices you send in a chat are the ones already running your business. There is a custom API too.

Where is my data stored, and is Companion GDPR compliant?

Your data is stored in the UK, in London. Companion is GDPR compliant, offers a data processing agreement, never uses your customer conversations to train AI models, and deletes your data outright when you ask. Messages go out from your team’s own numbers, never a generic line.
